Manila Homecoming game

Manila High School hosted Walnut Ridge Friday at Lion Stadium in the annual homecoming game. (Above) The Lions race onto the field prior to kickoff greeted by enthusiastic fans. (Below) The action was tough in the trenches as several Lions combined to tackle a Bobcat ball carrier. The Lions were in the game early and trailed only 23-6 in the second quarter. But the Bobcats proved too tough and came away with a hard fought 45-6 victory. The Lions fell to 3-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
