– The Harrisburg Junior Lady Hornets (21-5, 15-1) volleyball team capped off their season with a runner-up finish in the conference tournament at Walnut Ridge. The Junior Lady Hornets won the conference title with a 15-1 record. Harrisburg beat Cave City 25-18, 25-7 before losing to CRA 15-25, 18-25. Combined stats for both games were: Adalen Kocher with 13 kills, went 11 of 12 serving with five aces, and had three digs. Addy Biggs had five kills and six digs. Camilla Spiegel had four kills, was seven of seven serving, and had 10 digs. Bella Morgan was nine of nine serving with one ace and had two blocks. Brae Faulkner added four kills, had 10 assists, was 25 of 26 serving with nine aces and had five digs. Emery Gray finished with two kills, was 18 of 18 serving with three aces and four digs. Madisyn Brazile had seven digs and was three of three serving.

– EPC (6-1, 4-0) stayed unbeaten in 2A-2 conference play with a 58-26 win over Earle Friday at Warrior Field in Lepanto. Dennis Gaines, Jr. had a big night for the Warriors with 15 carries for 219 yards and three touchdowns. Tyler Moore had 12 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown to go with one catch for 39 yards and a touchdown. Jacob Gaines finished with two carries for 67 yards and a touchdown. Cooper Argo completed four of nine passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns while adding seven carries for 29 yards and a touchdown. Omar McCuiston had two catches for 63 yards and Tyrus Reel had one catch for five yards and a score. McCuiston had an interception for the Warrior defense.

– Marked Tree (5-1, 3-1) got seven touchdown passes from Ken Carter as the Indians held on to beat McCrory 52-48 Friday at Jaguar Stadium in McCrory. Carter completed 20 of 27 passes for 466 yards for the Indians. Cam Marshall had eight catches for 173 yards and a touchdown. J.J. Risper had seven catches for 176 yards and four touchdowns, while Ja'Kaymion Williams and Dawon Smith each had a touchdown catch. T.J. Hodges had 12 carries for 50 yards. Timothy Risper, J.J. Risper and Marshall all had an interception for the Indians defense.

– Harrisburg (0-7, 0-4) lead Westside 12-0 at halftime only to see the Warriors outscore the Hornets 21-6 in the second half to take the 21-18 win in a 4A-3 conference game Friday at Warrior Stadium in Jonesboro.

– EPC Jr. High (8-0, 6-0) got a 22-yard touchdown run from Quincy Perry in the fourth quarter before adding the two-point conversion run to beat Earle 8-0 Thursday to win the 2A-2 junior high conference title. Perry finished with 21 carries for 131 yards, while Gabe Williams added five carries for 49 yards and one catch for four yards. Hunter Thrasher had seven tackles, two quarterback sacks and recovered two fumbles for the EPC defense. Ryder Gill also recovered a fumble and Ashton Reel finished with eight tackles for the junior Warriors.
