mEPC (5-0, 2-0) looks to keep rolling Friday as they travel to Cross County (2-2, 1-1) in a big 2A-2 game at Thunderbird Stadium.
The Warriors beat McCrory 50-16 this past Friday as Cooper Argo passed for 211 yards and four touchdowns while topping the century mark in rushing with two more touchdowns. Omar McCuiston went over 100 yards receiving with three touchdown catches. Dennis Gaines, Jr. also ran for over 100 yards and a touchdown. Argo had an interception while Tyler Moore and Michael Collins, Jr. both finished with seven tackles on the night.
Cross County (2-2, 1-1) bounced back from back to back losses to McCrory and Carlisle, to beat Clarendon 42-6 this past Friday. The Thunderbirds sport a huge offensive line and the offense is directed by returning starting quarterback Konnor Wilson. Cross County comes into the game averaging 24 points a game while giving up 11 points a game.
