A Blytheville man is in critical condition following a Saturday shooting in Blytheville.
Saturday, officers with the Blytheville Police Department responded to the area of Clearlake Apartments in reference to a man being shot. Officers arrived on scene and discovered Calvin Redmon, 30, of Blytheville, with an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers rendered medical aide until Pafford Ambulance Service arrived on scene.
Redmon was airlifted to Regional One, where he remains in critical condition.
Kevin Brown, 60, of Blytheville, has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting.
Brown is charged with criminal attempted murder and battery in the first degree. Brown appeared in Blytheville District Court Monday before Judge Shannon Langston. He received a $500,000 bond with 10% cash assurity. Brown was bound over to circuit court.
