Cole Lucius
Cole Lucius went to his heavenly home on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, in Osceola. Cole was a genuine Christian leader who was a member of Keiser First Baptist Church. He was a volunteer firefighter in Wilson, a part-time Wilson police officer for many years, and the terminal operations manager at TMS in Osceola. Cole was a man of many hobbies. His favorite hobby was being a part of all of the hobbies his kids enjoyed. He also enjoyed hunting, camping, floating and boating, and watching Rivercrest football and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Cole is survived by his loving wife of nearly 13 years, Heather Lucius, and their three children, Sonny Lucius, Aden Lucius and Jaxon Lucius; his parents, Dwayne and Gina Lucius; sister, Samantha Cissell (Jacob), and his cousin who is like a brother to him, Aaron Lucius (Taylor). He also leaves behind his grandfather, Ed Lippzer; uncles, Richard Cole (Christy) and Ricky Lawrence Lucius (Regina); aunts, Malissa Lucius and Judy Lucius; nieces and nephews, Neeleigh Darty, Asher Darty, Jacen Cissell, Caleb Cissell, Hudson Murray, Maverick Lucius and John Lucius.
Cole was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Farris Lucius, Martha Joann Lucius, and Lynna Jean Curtwright.
Relatives and friends are invited to Cole’s Life Celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 5-8 p.m. at Keiser First Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. at Keiser First Baptist Chuch. Interment will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
