Sylvia Gayle (Leasure) Cannon

Sylvia Gayle (Leasure) Cannon, 81, of North Little Rock, passed away on Aug. 19, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Cannon (Bill); son, William K. Cannon (Kendall); and her parents, Lloyd Leasure and Juanita (Trawick) Leasure of Searcy.

Gayle leaves behind a legacy that will forever be carried in the hearts of her son, Bradley M. Cannon (Brad); beloved sister, Linda Earles; brother, Harry Leasure; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Gayle's life will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114. Family visitation is from 11:00-12:00; public visitation from 12:00-1:00; funeral ceremony from 1:00-2:00. Gayle will be laid to rest in Searcy at the White County Memorial Gardens; no burial services will be held.
