“I'm very pleased with the way we played today. We came out slow but it was expected after not having done anything since middle of June, hitting someone other than teammates. I thought we threw the ball pretty good and I'm just pleased with the effort they gave. We've got to work on tackling between now and the season opener. Missed tackles were the biggest concern I saw tonight. We saw multiple fronts tonight on defense and we'll need to make sure we have our blocking rules down before the opener.”
