A Blytheville woman was arrested after a package containing methamphetamine was mailed to her home, according to a recent report by the Blytheville Police Department.
On Friday, Aug. 11, agents with the 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force, along with officers of the Blytheville Police Department, the Osceola Police Department, and the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department, executed a search warrant in the 900 block of McGruder Lane. Agents were initially notified of a suspicious package by the Arkansas State Police and the Shelby County, Tennessee Sheriff's Department.
Inspection of the package revealed it contained approximately 7.62 pounds of methamphetamine. Agents and officers executed a search warrant after the package was delivered to the address. A search of the residence revealed the package containing methamphetamine, fentanyl pills, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, and a loaded handgun.
Marshalla Woods, 45, of Blytheville, was arrested as a result of the investigation. According to jail records, Woods was released on bond on Monday.
