Edward Earl Hunter

Edward Earl Hunter, 78, of Killeen, Texas, passed away Aug. 4, 2023, at Hillside Medical Lodge in Gatesville, Texas. He was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Osceola to Robert and Ada Lou Lattimore Hunter. Mr. Hunter was a retired City Bus driver in St. Louis, Mo., and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, John L. Hunter, Curtis Hunter Sr., Charles Hunter and Paul Hunter; six sisters, Doris Edward, Doreatha Hunter, Vernice Davis, Dessie Jefferson, Annie Jo Humble and Maxine Hunter.

He is survived by his caregiver (nephew), Chris (Pattina) Bausley of Killen, Texas; two nieces, Ada Hunter of Little Rock and Yolanda Virgies of Jacksonville; and one sister, Maudie Byrd of Osceola.

Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 19, from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral at 10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with pastor Albert Frazier officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of the arrangements.
