Hobson Allen Elrod III

Hobson Allen Elrod III, 76, passed away July 28, 2023, at his residence in Gosnell. He was born Dec. 13, 1946, in Bassett to Hobson Elrod Jr. and Helen Bennett. Mr. Elrod III retired from Tenaris as a factory worker and a member of the Jehovah Witness.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hobson Elrod Jr; and one brother, Steve Elrod.

Mr. Elrod III is survived by his mother, Helen Elrod of Bassett; one son, Hobson Elrod IV of Russellville; one daughter, Amber (Dana) Stewart of Gosnell; two brothers, Robert Elrod of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Harry Elrod Sr. of Joiner; four grandchildren, Hobson Elrod V, Nick Elrod, Clein Stewart and Brooke Nelson; as well as three great-grandchildren.

There will be no services available.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
