Jordan Elijah Dewayne Wilson
Jordan Elijah Dewayne Wilson was born Dec. 21, 2007, to Yatrice Jones and Martin Wayne Wilson Jr. in Blytheville and departed this life on June 29, 2023, at the tender age of 15. From birth, his bright smile illuminated the light he would bring to the world. Jordan naturally compelled all he came in contact with because of his well-mannered character. He loved to dress and made sure his hair was cut every week so that his waves were always on swim. Jordan was a kind, caring, and compassionate gentleman who always helped everyone, especially his mom. Jordan loved his siblings, he enjoyed being a big brother, and it was very rare that you saw him without Lexi.
He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, especially his brother’s, Quae, dancing, and goofing with his brother and sisters. Jordan advanced academically; in the top excels of his class, Jordan participated in FBLA, JLC, and TRIO, with social studies being his favorite subject. Jordan was not only preparing for the 10th grade, but to become a teenage entrepreneur along with three of his friends, launching their very own tee shirt business.
Jordan will be deeply and sorely missed, but his legacy will forever imprint this earth through all those who knew him.
Jordan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Myrtle West Love, Russell Jarrett Sr., Linbirgh Clark Sr. and Terry Rowden.
Jordan leaves to cherish his precious memory his dear and loving mother, Yatrice Jones of Macon, Ga.; his father, Martin Wayne Wilson Jr. of Blytheville; one brother, Jaquavion Thompson of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Jakiyah Griffin and Jakirah Wilson, both of Macon, Ga.; maternal grandparents, Linda Scott of Osceola and Charles Jones Sr. (Rosie) of Caruthersville, Mo.; great-grandmother, Sarah Rowden; grandfather, Martin Wilson Sr. of Blytheville; two uncles, Kedric Jarrett of Osceola and Charles Jones Jr. of Caruthersville, Mo.; two aunts, Coffey’e Young of Caruthersville, Mo., and Myrical Scott of Osceola; two special great-aunts, Annette Stevenson (Ricky) of Osceola and Ranada West of Macon, Ga.; two special great-uncles, Russell Jarrett III (Jaime) of Keiser and Albert Jarrett of Tucker; a very dear best friend, Derek Davis of Macon, Ga.; along with a host of other siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
