A Blytheville man was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle during the early morning hours on Sunday, June 4.
Reports from the Arkansas State Police confirm that the crash happened at 4:27 a.m. on State Highway 18 east of State Highway 239 in Mississippi County.
The preliminary crash report identified 55-year-old Larry Sutton as the fatality of the crash after his bicycle was struck from the rear by a 2023 Nissan. Sutton was thrown from the bicycle and was immediately taken to Greater River Regional Medical Center. Sutton was later pronounced dead.
Arkansas State Police reported that the 2023 Nissan left the scene of the crash.
