Luis Angel Rangel

Luis Angel Rangel, 23, of Leachville, passed from this life Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Regional One Health Center in Memphis. Born in Harlingen, Texas, Luis had been a Leachville resident for most of his life. He was a 2018 graduate of Buffalo Island Central High School and later received an associate degree from Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville. Luis was employed as a guideline inspector for Nucor Hickman Steel Mfg. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with his family, friends and his dog “Cache Money.”

Survivors include his parents, Jesus and Cecelia Rodriguez Rangel of Leachville; six brothers, Jesus Manuel Rangel of Bowling Green, Mo., Alex Rangel of Leachville, Angel Rangel of Harlingen, Texas, Luis Geraldo Rangel of Jonesboro, Antonio Rangel of Leachville and Juan Rangel of Leachville; two sisters, Jessica Garza of Jonesboro and Dulce Rangel of Leachville. Luis also leaves four nephews, Alejandro Rangel, Jr., Izik Rangel, Kevin Rangel and Caden Rangel.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.
