Frederick Lee Jackson, Sr.
Frederick Lee Jackson, Sr. was born Dec. 9,1964, in Blytheville to Harvey D. Jackson and Linda Lue Mitchell Jackson.
Frederick had a loving and caring heart; he would put a smile on your face just from a conversation with him. He attended Blytheville School District early in his education but as a teenager, Frederick moved to Key Largo, Fla., where he attended Coral Shores High School. On Saturday, May 6, 2023, he transitioned at the age of 58.
Frederick was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Rebecca Jackson and Mollie Mitchell; his son, Joshua Jackson; and his sister Barbara Jackson.
Frederick leaves to cherish his legacy his parents, Harvey D. Jackson of Blytheville and Linda L. Jackson of Homestead, Fla.; his devoted friend of 38 years, Dewania Turner of Blytheville; four sons, Frederick Jackson Jr., Joshua Jackson, Jushawn Northern, all of Blytheville, and Jeremy Jackson of Conway; three daughters, Cheska Clark and Porsche Turner, both of Blytheville, and Iesha Jackson of Gosnell; three brothers, Harvey Jackson Jr. of Homestead, Fla., Michael Jackson and Charles Jackson, both of Blytheville; five sisters, Stella (Ronald Riley), Mary Jackson and Linda Jackson, all of Homestead, Fla., Juanita Jackson and Alexis Stanback, both of Blytheville; a very special niece, Theresa McKinney (Ramona French) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 19, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Greater Jeremiah Spiritual Church, 1100 South Lake Street, Blytheville, where Reverend Fred Wright is the pastor. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon at the church. Reverend Patrick Jackson will deliver the eulogy with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
