Edward Stanley Lippelman Jr.

Edward Stanley Lippelman Jr., 83, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro.

Edward was born in Lebanon, Mo., to Jack and Charlene Lippelman. He worked in the grocery business all of his life and ended his career at Hays Supermarkets. He was also very involved with the Boy Scouts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Charlene Lippelman; wife of 60 years, Patricia Lippelman; son, Carl Lippelman; grandson, Ryan Lippelman; and sister-in-law, Lisa Lippelman.

Edward is survived by his daughter-in-law, Kimberley Lippelman–Nash of Springfield, Mo.; children, Stan Lippelman and his wife Kim of San Antonio, Texas, and Ebbie Lippelman Wamble and her husband Christopher of Blytheville; grandchildren, Matthew Lippelman (Vanessa), Marissa Miller (Josh), Joshua Lippelman, Hayden Lippelman, Ella Lippelman and Amanda Fischer (John Luke); two great-grandchildren arriving soon; his siblings and their spouses Bill and Sandy Oliver of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Delvan and Karen Mitchell of Nixa, Mo., and Bill Lippelman of Springfield, Mo.; sister-in-law, Caroll Rehkop of Springfield, Mo.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Zach Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville. Burial will be at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield, Mo., Monday, April 24, at 2 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
