Michael Joe Gray

Michael Joe Gray was born Aug. 13, 1953, in Hayti, Mo. He passed from this life on March 11, 2023, in Savannah, Tenn., at the age of 69 years, six months, 26 days.

He was a retired mechanical engineer. Through the years he enjoyed working on guns, target shooting, cooking and English woodworking. He was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter, Mo.

Mr. Gray was united in marriage to Reeda Berry on July 26, 1980, who survives him. He also is survived by a brother, Jackson Neil and wife Andrea of Blytheville; brother-in-law, Larry Berry and wife Linda; a niece, Michelle; and extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanie Purett Neil; father, Donald Gray; stepfather, J.W. Neil.

A graveside service will be held March 16 at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo.
