Larry Dean Warren

Larry Dean Warren, 70, of Marmaduke, formerly of Leachville, passed from this life Tuesday evening, Feb. 7, 2023, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Mo. Born in Gosnell to the late J.H. and Mary Rush Warren, Jr., he was a 1970 graduate of Leachville High School. A Vietnam veteran, Larry had served 22 years in the U.S. Navy before his retirement. He had lived in Marmaduke for the last 20 years and attended First Baptist Church in Marmaduke and Road To The Cross Cowboy Church. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, working with livestock, drinking coffee with friends and eating chocolate. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Warren, and one grandson, Robert Warren, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Frances Gragg Warren of the home; three sons, John Warren (Stephanie) of Billings, Mo., Robert Warren (Vicky) of Raynham, Ma., and Bobby Tinsley (Kindal) of Marmaduke; three daughters, Brandy Davison (Corey) of Jonesboro, Katie Biggs (Josh) of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and Angela Smothers (Jason) of Humbolt, Tenn.; one sister, Reba Smith (Danny) of Leachville. He also leaves nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Online guest register: www.howardfuneralservice.com
