Herminia Huerta Mireles

Herminia Huerta Mireles, 76, of Caraway, passed away Jan. 3, 2023, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Chapel in Osceola. Ms. Mireles was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Mathis, Texas, to Jose and Julia Ramirez Huerta. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Candelario Mireles; and one sister, Adela Luna.

She is survived by four sons, Candelario Mireles, Jr. of Caraway, Jose (Kathy) Mireles of Victoria, Martin Mireles of Wilson and Johnny (Angela) Mireles of Driver; four daughters, Rosa (Ellis) Enmon and Linda Mireles of Wilson, Samantha (Mitchell) Hollands of Caraway and Nia (Steven Smith) Mireles of Caraway; one brother, Rene Huerta of Plainview, Texas; three sisters, Josesina (Santos) Alvarado of Blytheville, Rachel Yuarra of Powell, Texas, and Paula (Ben) Naranjo of Livingston, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 9, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola with Bro. Carl Barfield officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of the arrangements.
