Barbara Mae Moore
Barbara Mae Moore, 76, of Manila, passed from this life Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at The Springs of Jonesboro. Born April 6, 1946, in Manila, she was the youngest of five children born to the late Jess and Opal Nelson Moore. Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Manila High School and was a retired employee of Milwaukee Tool Manufacturing Company in Blytheville and longtime member of Westside Baptist Church in Manila. Barbara was a sacrificial mother and loved everyone she believed in. She enjoyed taking trips, shopping and the Christmas season was her favorite. Her passion for life was her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Carol Moore; and one sister, Mearl McCormick.
Survivors include her beloved son, Brandon Bollinger and his wife Kristy of Manila; two brothers, Earl Moore and Bobby Moore, both of Manila. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Taylor, Vince, Trey, Chelsea, Madisyn, Lane and Kynlee; seven great-grandchildren, Emerson, Memphis, Addison, Harper, Jadon, Lilly and Dalis; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Eddie Hawkins and Ray Dill officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be Vince Bollinger, Lane Carter, Jadon McKaskle, Gage Owen, Weston Moore and Hunter Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be The Manila High School Class of 1964 and her work family from Milwaukee Tool Manufacturing of Blytheville. The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
