Roy Vance “RV” Huskey

Roy Vance “RV” Huskey, 83, of Rivervale, passed away Dec. 23, 2022, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro. He was retired from Bakers Implement in Osceola and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Huskey was born July 6, 1939, in Iuka, Miss., to Roy and Amy Fry Huskey. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, J.E. Huskey, David Huskey and T.J. Huskey; and four sisters. Mary Keanum, Bobbie Miles, Helen Winn and Joann Jaco.

He is survived by his wife. Gladys Huskey of Rivervale; three daughters. Betty Huskey and Debbie Jones of Rivervale and Tonya (Tim) Brown of Lepanto; two brothers. Marvin “Gabo” Huskey of Mountain Home and Leaman “Buck” Huskey of Rivervale; three sisters. Betty Boyer of Dexter, Mo., Peggy Eastwood of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Ruth McVay of Steele, Mo.; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m. at Rivervale Baptist Church in Rivervale. Burial will be at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto with Bro. Steven Sanders officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza is in charge of the arrangements.
