Erbie James Dearen
Erbie James Dearen, 44, of Manila, passed from this life Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at his home. Born in Blytheville, he was the son of the late Douglas Wayne Dearen and had been a lifelong Manila resident. He had been employed by Berry’s Welding and Blacksmith Shop and Systems Contracting Company in Blytheville, retiring in 2010. Prior to a diving accident, Erbie enjoyed dancing, loved being outdoors, camping and watersports. His family stated, “He was known for being blunt and brutally honest.” In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Zayden James Dearen.
Survivors include three sons, Zachary Dearen and his wife Ainsley, Dominick Dearen and Coleman Elijah Dearen; two daughters, Kirsten Rucker and Courtney Dearen his mother, Darline Dearen; one brother, Douglas Dewayne Dearen; two sisters, Candy Lomax and her husband Wayne and Angie Michelle Dearen. He also leaves five grandchildren.
