The Blytheville Police Department took a theft of property report at Perkins/Bistro 1121 Wednesday, Sept. 28. Owner Don Houseworth told police that over the last several months, tens of thousands of dollars worth of food and other items had come up missing.
In one incident, caught on camera, Houseworth identified a suspect as an offender carrying out what was said to be food from the kitchen. The video allegedly shows the suspect carrying items outside of the building, then placing them in an SUV and driving away.
Houseworth advised BPD he believes there are multiple offenders involved in the alleged thefts.
