Theressia Lee Cooper

Theressia Lee Cooper, 82, of Luxora, passed away Aug. 26, 2022 at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro. She was a retired shipper with Texas Instruments and of the Baptist faith. Ms. Cooper was born April 7, 1940 in Kansas City, Mo., to Clarence Eugene Asher and Frances Faye Dunbar Stradley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Cooper; her son, Gregory Allen Bright; one daughter, Judith Ann Bright May; and one brother, Ralph Asher.

She is survived by one daughter, Michelle Elaine Bright Bryeans of Luxora; two brothers, Eugene Asher of Sparks, Nev., and Lloyd Stradley of Reno, Nev.; one sister, Catheryn R. Segura of Sparks, Nev.; four grandchildren, Sasha Danial Bright, Sara Bright, Melissa Gardner and Jerry Don Bryeans; and six great-grandchildren.

There will be a direct cremation with Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola in charge of the arrangements.
