A two-vehicle accident in Jonesboro claimed the life of a Lake City man, Sean Tyler Terrell, 28.
According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety summary report, the accident occurred at 10:22 p.m. Sunday on East Highland Drive, Highway 18, west of Barnhill.
A Peterbilt 18-wheeler truck was traveling eastbound on Highland, pulling a trailer. The truck attempted a ‘u-turn’ on Highland to return back westbound. When the truck stopped during the turn, the trailer blocked all lanes of traffic and the 2020 Honda Civic, driven by Terrell, struck the trailer.
The investigating officer was Sgt. George Martin with the Jonesboro PD.
