Lester Lee Davis
Lester Lee Davis, 70, of Blytheville passed away July 17, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was of the Baptist faith. After high school, Lester was drafted for the Vietnam War. He received a Bronze Star and the Vietnam Combat Infantryman Badge. He attended Cotton Boll Vo-Tech where he received certification in both bricklaying and sheet metal fabrication. He was a farm worker and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Davis was born March 12, 1952, in Coldwater, Miss., to Nathaniel Davis and Robbie Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Davis and Robbie Williams.
He is survived by two sisters, Myra Shipp of Jonesboro and Rosie Kimbrough of Kansas City, Mo.; two sons, Patrick Murphy of Kennett, Mo., and Derrick Oliver of Jonesboro; three daughters, Krischella Day of Lawton, Okla., Kala Reed of San Diego, Calif., Eboni Willis of North Little Rock; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville Friday, July 22, from 10 a.m - 12 p.m. Burial will be at V.A Cemetery in Birdeye Monday, July 25, at 10 a.m. Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
