Curtis Johnson Jr.

Curtis Johnson Jr. was born June 8, 1941, in Columbus, Miss., to the late Curtis Johnson Sr. and Trilley Tate Johnson. He departed this life on June 7, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 80.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Tommie Johnson; two daughters, Margaret Hodges and Linda Ross; three sons, William Johnson, Curtis Johnson III and Doyle Johnson; one sister, Mary W. Johnson; one brother, Theodis Tate, all of Blytheville; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and he also leaves a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday June 18, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:55 at Temple of Praise Church in Blytheville. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.
