Michele Charmaine "Micki" Gott

Michele Charmaine "Micki" Gott of Jonesboro, formerly of Leachville, widow of Dan Gott, passed from this life Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in Memphis, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Jettie Douglas and Nanetta "Pat" Staudenmayer Hodges and had been a longtime Leachville resident before making her home in Jonesboro in 1972. A 1962 graduate of Leachville High School, "Micki" was a homemaker and had been a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church since 1992. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters, who affectionately called her "Yo-Yo." In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Maria Sullivan, in 2001 and one sister, Rita Ramona Hodges.

Survivors include her daughter, Jenny Spinks and husband Joey of Jonesboro; two granddaughters, Bella Spinks and Georgia Spinks. She also leaves nephew John Toombs (Ange) and niece Laura Thompson (Steve) and several great-nieces and great-nephews; a favorite cousin Jack Nall (Betty Sue), her lifelong friend Diane Anderson and close friends and neighbors, Bob and Janet Justus.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with the Rev. Father Kevin Gore officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10 until service time on Monday. The family requests that lasting memorials be made to Helping Neighbors Food Pantry, (http://www.helpingneighbors-craighead.org)
