Fay Smith

Fay Smith, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Etowah, passed away May 10, 2022, at her home. She had an associates degree, was a retired bookkeeper for Missco and Manila School Systems. Ms. Smith was born June 23, 1934, in Bassett to Arthur Bell and Ocie Lee Rogers Simpson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Smith; two brothers, Joe Simpson and Wayne Simpson; three sisters, Ivy Hudson, Katie Mason and Lilly Millirons.

She is survived by two sons, Richard (Mary) Smith of Lost Cane and Jerry (Tommye) Smith of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter, Teisa (Eugene) Daniel of Manila; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, from 9-10 with the funeral at 10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah with speakers Greg Simpson, Bo McCullom and Chris Ferrell. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
