Courtez D. Wright

Courtez D. Wright was born Jan. 21, 1993, to Dawn Harris and Timothy Brown in Blytheville. Courtez departed this life on May 4, 2022, at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn., at the age of 29. He was preceded in death his grandmother Dorothy Rogers.

Courtez leaves to cherish is memories his parents, Dawn Harris and Timothy Brown; his fathers, Vernell Furlow and LaShawn Harris Sr.; one daughter, Londyn Wright, all of Blytheville; his fiancee, Chandra Jelks of Maury City, Tenn.; 13 sisters; Lyric Furlow of Atlanta, Ga., Tamara Brown, Quaniesha Furlow, Tyeesha Furlow, LaShayia Harris, Sy’breni Perkins, Ka’Meryia Tride, Imberlynn Battles and Brooklynn Wright, all of Blytheville, Kesha Green of Hayti, Mo., Nikerana Brown of Marion, LaShantie Harris and Ancea Brown, both of Jonesboro; 10 brothers, Chantz Furlow, Ingram Battle, Kareem Tride, Quincy Whitfield, Amario Brown, LaShawn Harris and Casmer Chew, all of Blytheville, Vontra Furlow, Hunter Starnes and Keylen Brown, all of Jonesboro; two grandmothers, Annie Brown and Dorothy Blair, both of Blytheville; three grandfathers, Joseph Parker of Virginia Beach, Vir., Bishop Johnny Brown and Wesley Rogers, both of Blytheville; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, from 5-7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 634 W. Main Street, Blytheville. Service will be held Saturday, May 14, at Firm Foundation Ministries in Gosnell at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Blytheville.
