Dolores Ann (Clune) Morrow
Dolores Ann (Clune) Morrow, 93, departed this life Friday, with daughter Susan at her side. She joins her dearly-loved and inseparable husband Marcus who passed 20 years ago after 53 years of holy matrimony. Dolores is the daughter of Frank Clune and Emma Weisenbach of Paragould. She graduated Paragould High School Class of 1946. She then worked as a licensed practical nurse until starting her family. In 1957 the family moved to Blytheville as Marcus began his career in HVAC maintenance at Blytheville Air Force Base. In the 1970s she served as a dental assistant followed by several years as a teaching assistant in local elementary schools. For 65 years, Dolores was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Faith brought great comfort the whole of her life.
In addition to her parents and her husband Marcus, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Louella and Mae.
Dolores is survived by children Michael Morrow of Athens, Ala., Deborah Houlette (Gary) of Wanette, Okla., Daniel Morrow (Patricia) of Pearcy and Susan Anderson (Ronald) of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Wheeler of Wheeler, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Francis officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-6 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 6 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
