Linda Lee Payne

Linda Lee Payne of Little Rock was born Aug. 11, 1959, in Steele, Mo., to the late John Lee Fultz and the late Mildred Smith Fultz. She was substitute teacher and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Payne passed away Feb. 9, 2022, at the age of 62. She was preceded in death by her father, John Lee Fultz; mother, Mildred Smith Fultz; brother, John Fultz, JR.; and two sisters, Dorothy Guyton and Murry Soward.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan Eugene Payne, Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Carrie Nicole (Tommy Wilborn) Payne of Blytheville; four sisters, Kathlene Cotton and Joan (R.L. Johnson) Fultz, both of Jonesboro, and Earlene Walker and Mildred Louise Fultz, both of Killen, Texas; her godson, Evin Hunter of Little Rock; and three grandchildren.

The visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, from 12-2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m. with Bishop Randy Crenshaw officiating. The burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
