Bennie Faye Carmon

Bennie Faye Carmon was born Dec. 23, 1947, to Rufus Mitchell Sr. and WalterRean Mitchell in Osceola. She departed this life on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at her home in Blytheville at the age of 74.

Bennie Faye leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Dominique Gross Boyd of Kenner, La.,, Toni Huggins of Wichita, Kan., Lee Reddick and Alexis Thomas, both of Blytheville; two sons, Maurice Gross Jr., of Blytheville and NiKia Carmon of San Diego, Calif.; her mother, WalterRean Mitchell of Blytheville; three brothers, Rufus Mitchell Jr., Rupert Mitchell and Royal Mitchell, all of Blytheville; one sister, Juanita Whitmore of Jacksonville; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, at First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 E. McHaney, Blytheville, from 10-11:55 a.m. Service will follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
