Maye Webb
Maye Webb, 92, of Burdette, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Maye was born in Bear Creek to Myrt and Sally Horton Bohannon. She was faithful to the Lord and was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and was retired from Burdette Water Company and also worked at Columbia Ribbon. Maye loved being outdoors and was always working in the garden or her flower beds. She enjoyed going fishing, quilting and cheering on her son-in-law Kenny at the car races. Maye adored all animals and especially her cats and dogs. She had a big heart and never met a stranger. Maye was an excellent cook and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Webb; brothers, Vernon, Howard, Willie and Joe Bohannon; and sisters, Berlene Ragland, Modene Moore, Vaudie Kelly, Hazel Taylor and Frances Bratton.
Maye is survived by her children, Judy Canada and her husband Grover of Blytheville, Gary Webb and his wife Becky of Burdette, Nita Lovins and her husband Kenny of Blytheville and Sally Parks and her husband James of Burdette; grandchildren, Kenny Joe Lovins, Gina Talbot, Hilary Canada, Justin Webb and Cody Webb; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Pearson, Willie Talbot, Hadley Lovins, Kinsley Webb, Bentley Webb and Cora and Bea Talbot; and her special dog, Brownie.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell King, Jr., Rev. Roy Ragland and Mr. Bill Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
