Madison Eugene "Cherokee" "Geno" Davis

Madison Eugene "Cherokee" "Geno" Davis, 81, of Luxora passed away Dec. 20, 2021, at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Davis was born March 20, 1940, in Moundville, Ala., to Lester Davis and Mary Ada Grimes Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Ricky Lee Wilson, Gregory Don Wilson; two sisters, Ester Bell Spencer and Vanessa Wilson; three uncles, Jessie Grimes, Pete Grimes and Delmer Grimes.

He is survived by three brothers, Ellis Davis and Earl Davis, both of White Cloud, Mich., and Pete Wilson of Wilson; and nurse and caregiver for 12 years Darlen McAlister.

Visitation will be Dec. 27, from 12-2 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
