Jaqueline Elaine Botts
Jaqueline Elaine Botts, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at St. Bernards Hospital. She was born to the late Byron and Talmadge Billingsley on Nov. 30, 1952 at St. Bernards in Jonesboro and spent her childhood with her mother and five sisters in Leachville. Jackie attended ASU and earned her bachelor’s in elementary education. In 1977 she met her husband Bill in Marianna, where they resided and raised their son Bryce until moving to Jonesboro in 1992.
Jackie was never afraid to tackle any challenge head on. She believed in hard work, self-reliance, and standing your ground. Jackie started her career as an elementary school teacher and then moved on to help run her husband’s pharmacy (Daggett Drug in Marianna) and also several of her own businesses. Her last of which was Ritzie Rags Consignment in Nettleton where she enjoyed getting to know her patrons and helping them find the best for less. Jackie was literally a Jack of all trades!
Most of all Jackie loved her family and always thought of others first. She always had a place in her heart for any person or animal in need. She enjoyed working at the food bank, chatting up anyone that would listen, and spending time with her family.
