During a special meeting Monday night, the Gosnell City Council approved premium pay for city employees for working through the pandemic.
Employees will receive $2.50 per hour, up to 600 hours, for time worked from July 5, 2021 to Oct. 16, 2021.
They must be employed by the city through Dec. 10 to receive the one-time pay.
Funds would come from federal Covid relief money; the city received $321,000 from the American Rescue Plan.
