Matthew Dewayne Painter
Matthew Dewayne Painter, 50, of Sardis, Miss., passed away Nov. 10, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford, Miss. Matthew, better known by everyone he knew as "Buddy," was born Dec. 20, 1970, in Blytheville to Dwayne and Shirley Painter. Buddy was a very hard working over-achiever who defied the odds and surpassed expectations at everything he did. If Bubby did it, Buddy did it big. He became one of the youngest master electricians to ever hold that title. Master fisherman and master pool player were just two of his many hobbies that he over-achieved as well. But his true passion, one that even surpassed his own expectations, was finding his soulmate Zoraida Painter, and defying the odds once more he made her his beautiful wife.
Buddy leaves behind his wife Zoraida Painter; his sons, Herbert, Gerald Junior; daughter, Rossana; grandsons Juan, Sebastian, Levy; sister, Melissa Painter; nieces, Jessie Dalton, Kamdyn Foreman, Kathryn Antosh, Riker Antosh; his closest friends, Troy and TJ Hicks and their son Tanner.
Mr. Painter will be a direct cremation with no services. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
