The Mississippi County Regional Chamber of Commerce held a clean-up day in Blytheville Friday,
collecting e-waste, including old cell phones, computers, printers, as well as old tires, batteries and paint cans. Southern Bancorp provided a shredder for sensitive documents. Nucor-Yamato, Nucor-Hickman and Nucor Skyline combined to send around 100 employees into Blytheville neighborhoods to pick up trash and debris. On Thursday, the Blytheville Public Works department assisted Main Street Blytheville with cleaning up downtown in preparation for Saturday's 40th Annual Blytheville Chili Cook-off.
