David Lee Polk, Sr.
David Lee Polk, Sr. of Blytheville was born July 26, 1955, in West Memphis to the late Early Polk and the late Maggie Lee Robinson. He was an auto body mechanic as well as of the Baptist faith. Mr. Polk passed away July 17, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his father, Early Polk; his mother, Maggie Lee Robinson; five brothers, three sisters and one grandson, Markel Polk.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Johnson Polk of Memphis, Tenn.; his son, David (Lakesha) Polk, Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Shameka Polk of Memphis, Tenn., and Crystal Polk of Pine Bluff; one brother, Elroy Polk of South Bend, Ind.; one sister, Earllean Clardy of Blytheville; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be held Saturday, July 24, from 9-10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 10 a.m. with Rev. Burton Furlow officiating. The burial will be held at Sandy Ridge cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
