Vinnie Ella Henry Gentry

Vinnie Ella Henry Gentry of North Little Rock was born Jan. 29, 1935, in Chatfield to the late John Henry and the late Lila Gray Henry. She was a caregiver and a member of St. Paul M.B. Church. Mrs. Gentry passed away on June 25, 2021, at Baptist Memorial in North Little Rock at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Lila Gray Henry; her husband, Eddie Lee Gentry; one son, Carl L. Gentry; seven brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by three sons, Eddie Lee Gentry, Jr. of Blytheville, Bodie Lee Gentry of Jackson, Tenn., and Ronald Lee Gentry of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Mary Campbell of North Little Rock, Roselyn Bellamy of East St. Louis, Ill., and Doreatha O’Neal Robert of Durham, N.C.; one sister, Fannie Terry of Hattiesburg, Miss.; 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held Friday, July 2, from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul M.B. Church in Blytheville, with Bishop Henry L. Mays officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
