A local woman was kidnapped Tuesday at the Medical Plaza in Blytheville by a juvenile who is in custody for the crime, according to Blytheville Police Department CID Capt. John Frazier. "On Tuesday, the Blytheville Police Department was contacted by a deputy from the Crockett County Sheriffs office in Tennessee, who stated they had a juvenile in custody there for a crime that was committed in Blytheville," Frazier wrote in a press release. ...

A local woman was kidnapped Tuesday at the Medical Plaza in Blytheville by a juvenile who is in custody for the crime, according to Blytheville Police Department CID Capt. John Frazier.

"On Tuesday, the Blytheville Police Department was contacted by a deputy from the Crockett County Sheriffs office in Tennessee, who stated they had a juvenile in custody there for a crime that was committed in Blytheville," Frazier wrote in a press release. "That department advised that a Megan Whitlock was kidnapped from the Medical Plaza in Blytheville and forced by gunpoint to drive the juvenile to Tennessee. While in Tennessee Whitlock was able to get away from the juvenile and authorities there were able to take the juvenile into custody. The juvenile is now in the custody of authorities in Arkansas. This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available."
