Carol Ann Nelson
Carol Ann Nelson of Kennett, Mo., was born June 7, 1958, in Little Rock to the late Richard Nelson and the late Beatrice Williams Nelson. She was a factory worker as well as a member of Glory Cloud Ministry in Jonesboro. Ms. Nelson passed away Nov. 10, 2020, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville at the age of 62. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Nelson; her mother, Beatrice Williams Nelson; six brothers, James Nelson, Darren Nelson, Tommie Isom, Jessie Jones, Richard Nelson and Carlos Nelson; and three sisters, Elnora Hudson, Corrine Sutton and Earlene Nelson.
She is survived by two sons, Rodney (Danielle) Nelson of Kennett, Mo., and Alonzo (Ullanda) Jones of Jonesboro; three daughters, Marketta Nelson of Denver, Colo., Sharita (Javari) Herron of Blytheville and Shanta (Reggie) Williams of Las Vegas, Nev., six brothers, I.V. (Eulah) Nelson of Rochester, N.Y., Tollie Jones of South Carolina, Robert (Wilma) Nelson of Denver, Colo., Noble (Patricia) Nelson of Deering, Mo., J.W. Nelson of Steele, Mo., and L.W. (Francine) Nelson of Randallstown, Md.; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. the following day Saturday, Nov. 21, also at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with Pastor Rick Nelson officiating. Burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
