ECTA, llc will be hosting the ‘Horsepower Harvest’ motorsport events this weekend at the Blytheville Aeroplex from Friday through Sunday, with NASCAR driver Jennifer Jo Cobb expected to be in attendance. ECTA, llc will be hosting the ‘Horsepower Harvest’ motorsport events this weekend at the Blytheville Aeroplex from Friday through Sunday, with NASCAR driver Jennifer Jo Cobb expected to be in attendance.

ECTA.llc President Steve Strupp said, “The ECTA Arkansas Mile is bringing 80 of the fastest cars and motorcycles in the world. They will be competing to break and set world speed records.”

Set to compete are a wide range of vehicles from Lamborghinis and Corvettes to Dodge Neons.

Strupp said, “The 300 mph, M2K Motorsports, GT40 will be making some 1/2 mile hits.”

Cobb is scheduled to drive the 230 mph Attends #6 2018 NASCAR Ford Fusion, and will be available for pictures and autographs on Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Strupp also mentioned that survivors of the Battle of Mogadishu, Army Rangers Dale Sizemore and Larry Moores, will be at the event on Friday afternoon and Saturday autographing copies of the book ‘Black Hawk Down’.

“They will be autographing copies of the Black Hawk Down book, and will be promoting their amazing Three Rangers whiskey. Come out and thank them for their service,” said Strupp.

Strupp added, “We have open pitts that allow you to get up close to the cars, and meet the drivers and crews. Please be considerate and follow social distancing guidelines.”

Cost of admission is $10 a day and $20 for a full weekend pass. Children under 12, military veterans and any student with a student I.D. (including college students) are offered free admission.
