Angela Dawn Taylor
Angela Dawn Taylor, an administrative assistant at Mississippi County Sheriff's department, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Aug. 14, 2020, at the age of 49. Angela was born Aug. 24, 1970, to Lacy and Linda Brewer of Dyess and has been a lifetime resident of Mississippi County. She was a devout Christian and a member of Healing Hands Community Church in Trumann. Angela touched the lives of many as she shared her love for Christ with all whom she encountered. She left a legacy to her family and friends of God's amazing grace. Her favorite thing was spending time with her grandkids and family. She loved attending church and vacationing at the beach. Christmas time was a very special time for her and she loved splurging on her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, "Nanno" and friend. Those fortunate enough to know her were truly blessed and know how deeply and completely she loved! She will be truly missed.
She is survived her husband, Robert Taylor, Jr. of Marie; five children, Jerry Thompson (Jacey) of Luxora, Dalton Taylor (Morgan) of Brookland, Johannah Thompson (John Bradshaw) of Marie, Brianna Taylor (Shawn Murphy) of Marion and Aidan Taylor of the home; six grandchildren, Heidi Thompson, Brantley Thompson, Haven Bradshaw, Blakely Thompson, Veda Thompson and Hudson Taylor; her mother, Linda Brewer of Dyess; siblings, Tammy Cottingham (Bobby) of Dyess, Lee Brewer (Brooke) of Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lacy Brewer of Dyess, both paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation was from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Healing Hands Community Church in Trumann. Burial was in Potter Cemetery in Lepanto, with Bro. Anthony Patterson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola was in charge.
