Junior Lee Bobo
After 86 years of life as a faithful servant to his Lord, Jesus Christ, Junior Lee Bobo left his Earthly Home to be with his Lord on Aug. 8, 2020.
Mr. Bobo was born Nov. 3, 1933, in Lamar County, Ala., to the late John Cephas Bobo and his wife, Delphia Anne Womack. He was their last surviving offspring.
A dedicated, diligent provider for his family, Mr. Bobo was a hard working man all of his life. He was an agriculture worker from 1945-1962 in Alabama and later in Arkansas. He was a machine operator at Randall\Textron from 1963 until its closing. He later worked as a CDL driver for the City of Gosnell.
Mr. Bobo was a gentle soul that always put the needs of his family before his own. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading the Bible, listening to classical gospel music and was an inspiration to everyone he met.
Mr. Bobo was proceeded in death by his son, Lee Roy Bobo, Sr.; his brothers, Harvey “Luney”, Harris, Buddy, James, Ulysses and John Dactor (JD); his sisters, Nervandia, Arvie Lee, Annie, Lena, Beatrice, Ovella and Inez.
Mr. Bobo leaves behind to carry on his legacy and celebrate his life his wife of 64 years, Corine Bobo of Blytheville; his daughter, Evelyn (Don) of Blytheville; his sons, Rickie of Blytheville, Ronnie (Robin) of Stone Mountain, Ga., Michael of Memphis, Tenn., and Gregory (Sheila) of Pine Bluff; nine grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Leona Bobo Tate and Wanda Bobo Washington, both of Gosnell; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service will be held Aug. 29.
