An Osceola man involved in a fatal crash in Blytheville last Tuesday perished in a separate accident Wednesday afternoon in Jonesboro.
Racerrius Dequanne Wilson, 20, of Osceola and Ekylun Ahmad Ramos, 18, of Osceola both lost their lives in a two-car crash on East Highland Drive in Jonesboro around 12:32 p.m., Wednesday.
The accident comes just eight days after Wilson crashed a dirt bike on Highway 18 in Blytheville, and passenger Micha Michelle Williams perished when the dirt bike struck an 18-wheeler’s rear trailer wheels the morning of Tuesday, April 28.
According to the Arkansas State Police report, on Wednesday, Wilson and Ramos were passengers in a 2015 Nissan Altima being driven by Dallas Ali Mitchell, 18, of Jonesboro.
They were westbound on Highland when an eastbound 2018 GMC Sierra, driven by 67-year-old Timothy Maurice Jones of Black Oak, attempted a left hand turn into 5940 East Highland Drive, the report said.
The Altima struck the pickup truck while it was attempting the turn, according to the report.
Both drivers were also injured.
