Blytheville police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday night at Deerfield Inn in the 3700 block of South Division.
According to Blytheville assistant police chief Ricky Jefferson, police arrested Alisa Dyer, 29, on battery first charges, saying she shot 38-year-old Darrell Brown during a domestic dispute.
Around 11:15 p.m., Wednesday, police responded to Deerfield Inn, finding Brown suffering from a gunshot wound.
Brown was transported to the Great River Medical Center and later transported to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
Dyer is awaiting arraignment.
