Dennis Ray Newcomb

Dennis Ray Newcomb, 73, of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. He was a self employed business owner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Welton Newcomb and Elizabeth Newcomb Keathly, and grandson, Jared Shaneyfelt.

Dennis loved to hunt, fish and especially the outdoors. He loved working with his hands, sitting outdoors and talking with Donnie and his other friends.

Survivors include his wife, Dee Newcomb of the home; seven children, Tonya Taylor of Paragould, Mitzi Medsker of Arbyrd, Mo., Dennis Newcomb, Jr. of Jonesboro, Chris Newcomb of Jonesboro, LeaAnn Tacker of Lake City, Daron Newcomb of Jonesboro and Mike Long of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister, Sandra Powell of Tupelo, Miss.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
