According to Mississippi County Sheriff Dale Cook, the Sheriff’s office received a call on Monday about a possible skeleton human remains located on South County Road 243, east of Dyess.
On arrival at the scene, deputies confirmed the remains to be human. The remains were found in a field off South County Road 243, approximately 2 ½ miles south of State Highway 14.
Sheriff Cook said the remains have been sent to the Arkansas State crime lab for positive identification.
