On Monday, officers of the Blytheville Police Department arrested 25-year-old Jervontae Cox in the slaying of 23-year-old Kevondre Williams.
Police arrested Cox around 10:45 a.m. Monday while he was walking on Byrum Road in front of the Blytheville Primary School. Cox has been charged with murder in the first degree.
Williams' body was found last Monday in the 2400 block of South Elm. A city of Blytheville worker discovered Williams’ body while mowing the roadside of the rural area
